i really love light. zach teases me often about turning all the lights on. there is just something about a well lit home. maybe dimly lit homes remind me of my dads parents? they never seemed to want many lights on, and were pretty cranky old people…
and i really love cool lights. i’ve made a few light fixtures over the years. honestly, it was often because we didn’t have the money to buy unique light fixtures, and i could never find something in our price range that i liked! while our finances don’t force me to get super thrifty and creative as often anymore, i still enjoy it.
i’ve been asked a few times where i found, and if i like the goosenecks on our front porch. the answer is, of course, AMAZON! and yes! they’re great!
they’re dawn to dusk, so as long as the light switch is on, they come on when the sun is setting, and off when is rising! i used an LED Edison bulb and they cast such a warm, inviting glow!
